Shipping Policies

William Penn University Bookstore is proud to offer you the most competitive shipping rates. All of our shipments are professionally packed to ensure the safety of your items in route.

On average, if your shipping within Iowa it will be received in 1-5 business days outside of Iowa it will be received in 7-10 business days. During August or December, delivery time may take longer.

Book Buy Back

The primary book buys are held in coordination with exam week in December and May. However, we do try to buy books throughout the year. Original receipt and student ID are required at the time of buyback. We pay you 50 percent of the selling price when text is ordered by your professor for next term and when the bookstore is not overstocked. We pay you national market value when not ordered by your professor, when the bookstore is overstocked and when there is a national demand for your book.

Refund/Exchange Policy?

1. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES WITHOUT ORIGINAL STORE RECEIPT!

2. Time limit - within 10 days from the start of class (1 week for accelerated and summer classes).

3. New books must be returned unmarked and in original condition. If wrapped, must be unopened. All price stickers and labels must be on new and used books.

4. Defects in tapes or diskettes when purchased with new books, must be reported within the refund period.

5. Special order and customized course materials may be non-returnable. Verify at time of purchase.

6. Non-text merchandise in new condition, with tags, may be returned/exchanged within 10 days. You must have your receipt. Software and multimedia products are returnable in their original unopened packaging only.
